Top 10 Indian Alternatives to Banned Chinese Apps

The Government of India is emphasizing on Indian products very much and banned Chinese apps, saying that it was "prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defense of India, the security of the state and public order".

There are a total of 59 apps which was banned. With the ban on apps like Tiktok, talents are now looking for some alternatives which they can use for video creating. There are other applications too that were used for several days to day work that we will be discussing here. 

TikTok/Likee/Vigo/Kwai/Helo/Vmate/Bigo-These are Social media apps. The talk of the town is TikTok, which is a no 1 video-sharing app in the world. But then, the Indian government banned the application, and it took the searchers to an app called Chingari. It is India made short video sharing application. Within a few days, it crossed 1 million marks. Here, in this video, you get rewards for likes and comments. This app comes in 9 languages.

Mitron is another good alternative that is also an India origin app.

Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook- are another global alternative that can be used and are very popular.

UC browser/DU browser/CM browser- Apps like UC browser and DU browser had a good market share in India with a strong user base. And now that these apps are also banned, people can switch to Google Chrome browser or Firefox. But you are looking at some India applications then Jio browser, Bharat browser, Indian browser, or amigo browser.

We Chat/We Meet- These apps were used for chat and messaging. Few of the Indian alternatives are Hike, Jio Chat. And when we look for some of the global alternatives then we can go for WhatsApp, the Telegram messenger.

He wants people to come forward and build a Digital India using Digital technologies. This challenge will include existing app innovation and new app formation. There will be various cash awards for this challenge winner. The winner will be tracked by identifying the best Indian app, already used by users. This is a great initiative by our Prime Minister. So, India is empowering and this will create more jobs and people will be more self-sufficient. Digital transformations, apps, and technologies are very important in this fast-growing world.
